I had fantastic care from Mr Christopher Bailey who performed my operation to the anaesthetist who kept me nice and sedated during my knee replacement operation. The nurses and everyone else who were involved in my care were just brilliant. The physiotherapists who were involved were also excellent. I was so impressed with Sarum Road hospital - lovely room and ensuite - good and varied food and staff who were so willing to help and to please. Mr Bailey came to see at the start of each day whilst I was there - to check everything was ok. He also came on my day of departure as did the anaesthetist. I couldn't have wished for better care. Before my operation Mr Bailey explained everything to me and was open to any questions I had. The same applied after surgery - answering any queries I had in such a pleasant manner. I saw Mr Christopher Bailey for a frozen right shoulder after suffering several dislocations. He noticed that I had hyper mobility in my joints, which had never been pointed out to me before and referred me for an MRI scan, which diagnosed a tear in my labrum. He then performed a MUA (manipulation under anaesthetic) which successfully increased my range of movement and a course of physiotherapy to strengthen my shoulder. I always felt listened to and all my options were always well explained to me. I now have a great result and am very grateful to Mr Bailey and the physio team at Sarum Road hospital and because of the great care I received, I was recently able to fully take part in the family skiing holiday- Thank you so very much!
